Lockton Associate Excels in IIAP Training, Named Valedictorian

Ghio Gonzalez achieved top honors in the Insurance Institute of Asia and the Pacific’s (IIAP) Basic Life and Non-Life Training. The IIAP is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the insurance industry through training and research. Its mission is to enhance the professionalism and performance of insurance practitioners across the region. It recognized his outstanding performance by naming him the batch valedictorian. Notably, Gonzales is the first Lockton associate to receive this distinction, marking a significant milestone for the company.

The awarding ceremony was attended by top-performing candidates from all batches of the same year, along with members of the IIAP committee. In his speech, Gonzalez emphasized that raising industry standards is not just an individual pursuit but a collective mission—one that thrives on strong partnerships, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement. He underscored the importance of evolving with the needs of clients to ensure the highest level of service.

As part of Lockton Philippines’ tradition of recognizing excellence, Gonzalez was awarded a cash incentive for his achievement. Over the years, Lockton has recognized previous awardees who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their professional development, reinforcing its support for excellence in the industry. This longstanding initiative reflects Lockton’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Lockton remains dedicated to supporting its associates through training and upskilling programs, empowering them to reach their fullest potential. By investing in professional development, the company ensures its people are well-equipped to serve those who matter most—its clients.
